Worst Place Ever Stayed

The place was 100 dollars a night and not worth 50 cents. I went with a group. When i pulled up to the hotel, it looked like an apartment turned into a hotel. There were air conditioners in the window. The room extremely small. There was only two double beds, dresser, and nightstand. The dresser looked like something that you would pick up at a yard sale. The nightstand was sold that someone had carved their initials with the date 1985, which was probably the last time new funiture or carpet was added. We had to purchase cleaning supplies, clorox beach to use for the bathroom. The tub was dirty with hair and black weird stuff in it. The toilet looked disgusting. I never took my shoes off except to get in the bed. The carpet looked like it came from the 70s and was never cleaned. I just happened to bring a sleeping bag, which i placed on the bed, after we lysoled the whole bed, mattress, and sheets. The tv had cable, but there was static. There was actually an envelope for tips for the maid, they must be kidding! The rest of the hotel. I read that they had a grill for bbq, it looked liked something i had at home. They could have at least cut the grass around the grill. There was also a "community kitchen," it was just a table with chairs it what looked like an old garage. The game room was two old machines one was pinball. There was also a "library." it was actually tons of books thrown on the shelves. The parking was a tight fit. The only good thing was there was a patio so that you could the nice places that they are building across the street. I stay all this to say i would rather drive from delaware to new jersey everyday then stay at this building called a hotel. Do not waste your money or health staying at this place.

My Bedroom Was Bigger

So, for the fourth of july weekend we decided to stay at the beachwood hotel/motel whatever you want to call it. We arrive there at approx. 11 p.m. I like the fact that there is parking which is a good thing for me so i don't have to drive around to find some then again most of the hotels have parking for people who are staying there. So we get in check ourselves into the place. It cost 265 for the stay which was from friday night to monday 10 a.m. (good price for 4th of july) our room was upstairs so we open the door and we smell a funny stinch coming from the room but what could we expect. The room seems to be old but very small and a pretty small bathroom but i guess we didn't need much room. The t.v. Worked well the sheets well lets just say they had holes in them and thankfully the towels were nicely bleached. It was a one room one bed and bathroom with a tiny closet which was hard to get next to since the bed was literally 5 inches away from it. And a dresser and a mini refrigator which i thought didn't work since the light didn't turn on in there only to realize it does work cause i stuck my hand in and it was cold. The air conditioning worked well only for the fact that the room was so small. It's owned by hungarians since i talked with them for a little while. The maid comes every day around noon. The boardwalk was approx a 5 minute walk which was great which in sense is 5 minute walk to the beach. The stay was nice you get what you pay for but in sense people get angry about the price or whatever. The fact is you came to vacation and enjoy what's in wildwood and not to stay in the room and complain. Oh yeah the pool looked quite clean.

A good priced hotel and well located. Plenty of young people to hang out with and get to know. Good management and good facilities. I recommend this place, you won't spend much but you'll enjoy yourself.

Worst Place I'Ve Ever Stayed

We were there for the 4th of july weekend. The place looks like a dump. The minute i walked into the room, i wanted to run away. It was filthy, dirty to the point that you don't want to step barefoot any where, not in the bathroom, not on the carpet that probably saw the war for independence. I had to use towels to cover the headboard of the bed, so filthy that headboard was. We used our beach throw as a blanket because it made me nausious even to touch their blanket. Maid did not do her job well either. The plumbing in the bathroom was very old and unpleasant to use. The toilet paper holder was a piece of wire hanging on one screw. The room was so small that it fit only one double bed with no place to move around and no place to keep your clothes. The dresser they had in the room was filthy and had a horrible smell so i did not want to keep my stuff in it. You got the picture. Even the low price did not make it right. We paid $344 for 4 nights and it was absolutely not worse the money. Never again.
