Have been staying here for about 4 years. This hotel is great! Everything, everywhere is clean. They actually clean the pool in the am and the pm. The staff is friendly and makes a point to know families on a first name basis. Good location. Have stayed at other resorts in wildwood crest, port royal, el coronado, and they can not compare to the upkeep of this place. It may be smaller, but don't let that fool you.

Wildwood crest has some bad hotels and it can be very hard to find a good one for the family. This place is amazing. A good value, very clean, and very friendly staff members/owners. I've been there 2 years in a row and will be there for a third in 2005. Highly recommended. Great family hotel. The pool is very nice and clean and so are the bbq grills. Right on the beach as well!

Best Time At Fleur De Lis

Just got back from our stay at fleur de lis resort. It was so much fun at wildwood crest! The motel was so clean and comfortable! It had a cozy beach cottage feeling. The view of the ocean from the room was wonderful. The pool was great. It was quite enough for my two kids to nap in the afternoon. The motel staff was very nice and made special accomidations for us on account of some rainny weather. I would go back in a minute.

My family came to this small oceanfront motel in the early 1980s on the advice of family friends. Ever since that first time, we have returned on numerous occasions - and every time, it feels like coming home. Any hotel room at a family resort like wildwood crest is going to get lots of wear and tear – and thus, they often seem outdated. It costs quite a bit to constantly change carpet, bedding, curtains and the like. Yet the rooms at the fleur de lis seem to be brand new, even if they are not. That is a result of the overwhelming attention to cleanliness at this property. Over these past 20 years, one thing has remained consistent about this property: the place is immaculate. About that, there is no question. Reading about the horror stories that have befallen people at other wildwood crest motels, it's a wonder more people don't chose the fleur de lis instead. Every few years, there have been updates and renovations to the motel – each of the highest quality and meant to last: a new pool, new barbecue facilities, new lounge chairs, new umbrellas, etc. The management cares about their guests. The rooms are comfortable, the location is unbeatable, and the staff is quite friendly. There really is nothing more you could ask from a family beach resort. If you stay just once at the fleur de lis, be prepared - you will want to return.
