Secret Is Out

Ok, i've been on tripadvisor numerous times in the past 4 years or so, writing reviews and reading many and have always wondered why the armada has not been reviewed. We have stayed there for the last 4-5 years and i think i finally know the reason - everyone who stays there would like it to remain our own little secret. Well, at the risk of blowing it for all of us and finally giving the owners their due props, i will be the first to review this motel. We have stayed in several wwc motels, some pretty good and some not so good. What we found at the armada is a family-oriented motel which is very clean and in a great location. Currently there is no motel across the street - an open lot has been there for years (not sure how long that will last, but we are enjoying while we can). The armada is right on the beach, providing excellent views of the ocean and the occasional dolphins that surface. The boardwalk is a bit of a distance from the armada, however we always eat out and drive to the boardwalk anyway - parking is relatively cheap. The pool is clean and of adequate size - we usually go to the beach and generally never stayed around the pool until late afternoon - it was never over-crowded. There is a large sun deck for any overflow that do not get a lounge chair, however we have generally never had this problem. There is a barbeque grill poolside for those guests who wish to use it - man, that barbeque aroma really gets to you around dinner time! The armada has been clear of any major construction which has currently impacted the entire ww area. The one problem we have which is not isolated to the armada is that if we come back to the motel late, parking is very difficult. This is also apparently an issue at most of the motels. So if you are planning a late night at atlantic city, you will likely need to park on the street. As long as you move your car by 9:00am, there is no issue, however i woke up later and recently paid my fine by mail! Overall, we have an excellent time at the armada each year and always remember to reserve for the following year at check-out. There you are - the secret is out!
