First-of-all, let me start by saying I was extremely nervous about this place. I only ran across the reviews AFTER I booked it online. The staff was super friendly from the time we arrived until check-out. They went out-of-their-way to draw maps to the grocery store, give us advice on buffets and sightseeing. The room was nice and big, which we really apprieciated since the last trip to Wildwood was at the Gondelier. I really can't see how that motel is rated #2 with the tiny rooms, unheated pool and not-so-friendly staff. (but that's another story) My Admiral room was neat and tidy with towels folded ever-so-cute! Plenty of space for everything. The maid service was great too. We made sure to tip each time because they were so nice. My room was the perfect location for my 3 year-old. She walked out our door right onto the golf course. Pool was to the left of that and playground to the right. VERY kid friendly! Supervised activities all-day-long! Great access to the beach also. Semi-private entrance with life guard station right there. Pool was a little chilly and their vacuums need to be replaced (very old, some not quite picking-up everything) but they did vacuum rooms and common areas daily. All-in-all, this is the best Wildwood motel we have stayed at thus far.The" Attache'" is ok but very small rooms and the #2 motel "The Gondelier" was horrible. Do Not Stay Here!

We stayed here because a friend had a good experience previously and they were running a great memorial day weekend special. As we walked to our room, we noticed the place was filled with about 50 adults and children who appeared to be having a "family reunion". They had taken over the entire place. We were afraid to leave our room. The room was run-down and reeked of bleach. The bathroom towels were barely bigger than dish towels. The teenagers in the room next door stayed up all night long talking, drinking and listening to music. I called the front office twice and they were unable to solve the problem. I finally called the police. Believe it or not, at check-out they tried to charge me $3 for the phone call to the police! Do not stay here - it's a dump!

Never Stay In This Motel

There are too many lousy people stay in this motel. I just spend memorial long weekend at this motel. 10 to 20 gusets from a few families came here all the time. I cannot sleep well because these lousy people shouting and scream at 2-4 am every night. They throw things from 1st floor to 3rd floor and hit other room's window. They are totally ignored other people. When they are disturbing other guests, motel managers did not do anything and deny anything happen. This motel is very irresponsible to the good guests. Do not stay in this motel!!!!!!

Rained In Our Hotel Room

This was the vacation you dread. Not only was the room filthy but it rained in our room. Yes, rained in our room. We called the front desk explaining that the water was pouring in under the door and around the windows but all we were told was that they would bring towels up when the rain stopped. By the time someone came up the carpeting squished when you stepped on it. It was horrible. We saved all year to take what we thought was going to a nice family vacation. They did not offer us a discount, to move us to another room, free breakfast or even an apology. I cannot believe this place is still in business. Our only vacation in several years was ruined. My children were so dissappointed.
