This is a wonderful family hotel. Close to the beach and reasonably close to the amusements. The pool area is the best in town and the free breakfast was very nice. One of the top places in town.

I stayed at point pleasant manor in july of this year. The website picture don't really do it justice. The hotel design is your standard jersey shore motel, all one story with doors opening directly outside. There's nothing fancy about point pleasant manor, but the rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. The pool area was pleasant with lots of chairs. A simple breakfast (bagels, coffee cake, coffee and juice) were served each morning by the pool. The beach is down the block. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and I would recommend.
