I stayed at the traderwinds last year with my mother, sisters, neices, and nephews. We had two rooms. The location is great. Not far off the boardwalk and right in the center of town. Check in was fast and they have ample parking behind the hotel which was nice, did not have to worry about parking. The rooms were of typical size with 2 dbl beds, cable tv, refrigiator, table with two chairs. All rooms overlook the pool. Would stay there around...and, we went at peak season and there rates were very reasonable.

My family and i went to ocean city and did not have reservations & we took a chance that we will find a reasonable and clean hotel. Do our dismay, we had no luck, first of all the prices of the hotels are unbelievable for one night. We were looking to stay for three nights & what they wanted to charge for one night was not worth it. Anyway, in the process of searching for hotels we stoped at the trade winds hotel and at first the manager or owner was very pleasant and quated us decent $ for two rooms side by side. I was of course cautious and asked to see the rooms first before giving cc's. The man got very insulted and louldly said that he would not show the rooms, not his policy he said & walked away. I found this to be very un-professional, the other hotels had no problems of showing us the rooms. I waited few minutes and he did not return so i left. My advise is even though i did not stay at this place, just the fact that he was very rude and refused to show us the rooms are renters be aware!. The final outcome, we got very discusted and left the island and went to wildwood instead where we found great accomodations and reasonable & near the ocean.
