A Place To Sleep
By Anonymous on Thursday, June 15, 2006

Visitor Review
Husband and I just spent a saturday night at this motel. We just wanted a short hop to ac. The hotel is very 70's but it was clean and the staff was friendly. Check in and check out was quick. It was handy to the beach and boardwalk. We would stay her again, but like I said only as a place to sleep. Very few aminities.

We've stayed at 3 different hotels in ocnj and we keep going back to the pavillon. It's affordable, the rooms are clean, the people are very friendly. The location to the beach is great.

The Staff Is Rude and Nasty
By Anonymous on Thursday, June 15, 2006

Visitor Review
This is the worst hotel I have every stayed at in my life. The staff are extremely rude and the last time I was there they were yelling about how they hated dogs. I was wondering where in the heck is those remarks were coming from when they don't allow pets in their hotel.

Close To The Beach!
By Anonymous on Thursday, June 15, 2006

Visitor Review
My family stayed at the pavilion last fourth of july. The rates are great for being so close to the beach. We have stayed virtually all over oc for the past 7 years and we just booked with the pavilion again this summer. It is very clean and we had no problems with any of the staff.

My Family Had The Best Time There
By Anonymous on Thursday, June 15, 2006

Visitor Review
I dont think that other reviewer was in the right town or at the same place! My family and I had a great time there. The pavilion was right in the middle of all the "beach action" and the rooms were very clean. The staff helped us with every detail from finding rainy day activities to do with our 4 and 7 year olds (a monumental task!) To calling around for us to rent a stroller! We will definitely return in the future and have passed the word to our friends with children.

Great Motel--Great Price
By Anonymous on Thursday, June 15, 2006

Visitor Review
The rooms were clean, and the motel is definitely in the center of town and close to the beach. In fact, you could see a small view of the ocean from the doorway of our 2nd floor room. Large parking lot. We found the staff to be very nice and accommodating. The only complaint I have is that they need to put in bureaus with more drawers. It's ok for 1 or 2 people for a short stay, but I can't imagine having more than 2 people in the room for any length of time, each having only 1 drawer. All in all, we are quite pleased with the pavillion and will be returning there for a long weekend this summer.

The pavillion was a great place to stay, so close to the beach as well as everything else. The people at the pavillion took care of us everytime we asked for something. I look forward to staying again.

Not One of The Best
By Anonymous on Thursday, June 15, 2006

Visitor Review
We were pleased with our room and location of the hotel but......the young staff did not know anything about the hotel (neither did we), the big sign out front said heated pool (that was a lie), the maid service did not come til 3pm leaving us waiting outside for 1/2 hr to shower for dinner.and the biggest complaint was parking. The spaces were sooo small that suv's took up 2 spaces. If we were to stay here again, I would wait til mid to late july hoping the pool was warmer. It is now 5 bucks a person (no matter how small) to go on the beach. For a family of 5 we wanted to stay at the pool. The hotel was very dated but it was clean.

The Apartments
By Anonymous on Thursday, June 15, 2006

Visitor Review
The location to the beach is great but the apartments are terrible. True, they let you know that they are dated, but clean no way! Our apartment smelled of natural gas until we lit the oven. Our d.r. Ceiling leaked, our bare feet were black from how dirty the floors and carpeting was, and our refrigerator stopped working. What we could see of the inside of the rooms was really nice compared to the apartments. We didn't have any problems with the staff thet were all very accommodating especially for how many times I called the front desk. The apartments are well stocked with everything you need for a family of 6. I would stay there again but not at the apartments.

Great Place for Families
By Anonymous on Thursday, June 15, 2006

Visitor Review
My families experience at the pavilion was great. The apartments are definately beach apartments - not the most luxurious but clean - and that was fine since we has kids ranging from 10 to 18. The kitchens were well equipped and the swimming pool was always spotlessly clean. We rented two apartments across the hall from each other and it was like having a five bedroom house all to ourselves. It was half a block from the beach and it was terrific. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Best Place In Ocean City To Stay!
By Anonymous on Thursday, June 15, 2006

Visitor Review
The staff was extremely courtious and informative. We have been staying at other accomodations in oc over the past 10 years, the pavilion is by far the best! We have made reservations for next year already, that is how much we enjoyed out stay. The apartment was clean, neat and comfortable: parking is free:the pool was clean: close to the ocean and boardwalk. We have found a new place for our summer vacation at the jersey shore:) thanks!

I am getting my deposit in early this year. My family and I had the best time staying a tthe apartments. They were so clean and comfortable. The staff is excellent and were so accomodating. I went by the office to ask for a few things I had forgotten and they showed up at my dorr with the items in less than 10 minutes.

It Was Okay, Great Location!
By Anonymous on Thursday, June 15, 2006

Visitor Review
We recently stayed at the pavilion motor lodge. We were pleased to find that we had a king sized bed in our room, as we were expecting a queen. Overall the room appeared to be clean, and was an average size. The parking lot is a bit small, but there were always spaces available (although the front desk person told us to park across the street, as the motel lot was full, and when we tried that, the man working at the lot yelled at us that we need to park in the motel lot). We weren't especially pleased with the pool as it had a lot of dead bugs and dirt floating in it. The outisde changing room was very small and needed to be swept out badly. We enjoyed the location of the motel, as it was in easy walking distance of everything ocean city has to offer. There is a restaurant on site, but it did not seem to adhere to the hours that were posted in the hotel room. It was closed most of the time during our visit.

I had an excellent time at the pavilion motor lodge. I have been coming down to ocean city since I was a baby and have never had a better stay. Excellent location, excellent rooms, great food and wonderful people. They even play music in the pool area to relax to! Sandy was excellent and helped us with our every request and even moved our rooms so we were closer to the elevator. I had a great time and the first of many visits to the pavilion!

Needs Some Major Work!
By Anonymous on Thursday, June 15, 2006

Visitor Review
I don't know if all ocean city properties are like this, but we were very disappointed. For the rate, it was a very dark, small room in need of some major updating. If I could really remember the 60s, that is how i'd picture it to be. Just very dated and very tired looking. No view either, whatsover, of the ocean. Maybe this is what people are used to but for our money, next time we're heading back to one of the amazing north or south carolina beaches. For the same rate we can get a spacious, lovely, fresh and new hotel or condo, with a true oceanview of the same ocean. A little longer of a drive but so very worth it.
