We have stayed at the impala inn on a few occassions. I have found the staff to be courteous and gracious. The rooms are very clean. Since it's on the beach block, it convenient to walk to the boardwalk.

My family visited the impala island inn last summer. It backs up to an amusement park which turned out to be great when we were bringing our three exhausted kids back to our room. We had a suite which very comfortably accomodated the five of us. The beach is great and its a reasonable block away. Try a bike ride on the boadwalk too. We plan to go back.

As I rolled up into the impala in my impala, I was overwhelmed by my luxurious surroundings. When I walked in the door my family was offered a delicious sampling of crab cakes. Mmmm delectable!! The surray rides on the boardwalk were absolutely out of control!! My family almost crashed..haha, how silly. Overall, the impala island inn was gave off good vibrations and made my family's stay most fabulous.

On weekends free coffee & a whole lot of dunkin donuts.. Rooms need a microwave & coffee, maker & blow dryer thoughnice & clean large room with fridge, just needed a mircowave, coffeemake & blowdryer!! Otherwise would stay again!

Good Place To Stay In Ocean City

We stayed at this motel this past weekend. I would say that it was above average and I was pretty happy with everything. It was family friendly and conveniently located. When we arrived there was a pack-n-play for our baby already made up in our room waiting for us. The restaurant is across the street and had very good breakfasts. The boardwalk and beach were only a block away. Beach tags were provided free of charge during our stay and parking was free. The room was clean and when we needed extra towels they were more than happy to give us some. They have a swimming pool, a kiddie pool and an outdoor shower. This is an overall good value for the money.

We were pleasantly surprised how nice this motel was during the memorial day weekend, a terriffic value for a well maintained property in a great location in one of the best family destinations on the jersey shore. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. We are three families that want to return each year to start the summer off in ocean city!!

Our familys original plan was to stay at a place in seaside heights. Upon arriving at 5 pm. the room to say the least was not suitable for us nor our 3 kids. but in positive regard for the management they offered us a full refund. Without a place to stay we ended up in ocean city. with short notice and no reservation the staff at impala island litearley saved our vacation. the rooms were immaculate and the staff extremely friendly. their location to the boardwalk and a beach was less than a stones throw away. Everything was extremely great value for the money paid.Our family is looking forward to many more summers at the impala island inn.

March 2005 was our second time staying at the "Impala" while attending the spring "Atlantique City" antiques show in Atlantic City, the previous time being March 2003. When checking-in early in the evening, the desk clerk met us with a warm smile and couldn't have been more polite and helpful while telling us what was open in Ocean City at this time of year. How refreshing when at so many places the guest is just an interruption to whatever the staff is involved with. Our room was spotlessly clean and well stocked with towels, soaps, blankets, etc. and well appointed with a refridgerator, desk, couch, comfortable beds and remote controlled cable TV in good working order. The location is so convenient being in a beach block near the boardwalk and very close to our old restaurant favorite "The Chatterbox" as well as near to shopping on Asbury Avenue. The owner/manager is to be commended for maintaining the motel and grounds in an excellent manner, for an older building, it looks wonderful. Please keep up the good work as we plan to stay at the "Impala" at least twice a year and maybe more often. Thank you for a very nice stay.

Family Friendly In The Heart of Ocean City, Nj

Stayed at the impala island inn as a last minute mini vacation. Stay was for 2 nights. Booking agent was friendly. Rooms available for 08/21-23/05 stay ranged from $179-202. Room was very clean with a living area with sofa bed and table with 2 chairs and 2 double beds. View was nill. We looked at a pine tree with sounds of the amusment park right next door. There were 3 chairs outside, but the heat from the a/c units made it too hot to sit there. Staff was always friendly and the hotel overall was very clean. You are in the heart of ocean city, nj and within walking distance to beach, boardwalk, shops, restaurants etc. Park your car and go. There is a small micro fridge, but no microwave. A microwave is something this hotel should consider adding to it's rooms. Overall a great place to stay.
