A Beautiful Summer Weekend In Ocean City

I attended the 24th annual sports collector's convention in atlantic city and chose to stay in ocean city from (july 23 - 27, 2003). The days inn was extremely convenient being next to the boardwalk. Furthermore, the business areas in ocean city were accessible from the hotel and walking in the vicinity was enjoyable and safe. The hotel itself is quite simple yet overpriced in regards to what you get in the room itself. Nevertheless, the room was smoke-free, clean and had plenty of towels, clean sheets and the staff promptly provided extra pillows. In addition, parking was available at no extra cost and the management did not hesitate to tow cars that did not belong to hotel guests. The hotel has a pool that was quite active and everyone appeared to be happy and having a good time. If you are looking for a modern room to relax in during your stay with plush amenities, this is not the hotel to stay at. If you are looking for a clean room to stay in that is convenient to the boardwalk and within reasonable walking distance to some of the local restaurants and attractions, this hotel is a nice option. In addition, the staff was courteous and friendly to everyone. I would add that there were a lot of families here with children and the hotel is located right next to an amusement center with games, water rides and a giant ferris wheel as well as a bicycle rental shop. I will never go back to atlantic city again, but ocean city was a very pleasant and memorable experience.

We usually in the past have stayed at the days inn when we vacation in ocean city, but after last year, never again. The front desk staff was rude, the manager was not helpful with a situation at all & completely wrong about how he handled the situation, and to top it off, we woke up one morning to find red ants in our room crawling all over - some even had wings! This hotel is in need of much repair - it certainly has gone down hill. Upon contacting the owner, I was given one night's refund for the inconvenience, but unfortunately, I will not be staying there next summer - you pay way too much here for the poor maintance of the place - you should see the prices for one night in a room in the summer!! I'll give up the convenience of being close to the boardwalk & having a pool (why do you need one anyways? You have the ocean right there!!) - I will be checking out the homestead.

Wonderful Stay At The Days Inn July 30Th-31St, 2004

The staff, the room (4th floor ocean view), the location and the pool were just great!! The hotel is not 50 feet from the beach, but close enough. The hotel is situated behind the boardwalk at 7th street. Terrific view of the awesome ferris wheel and rides at the wonderland pier. The staff was very nice and friendly. We were able to use the pool if we arrived too soon before check-in and were able to swim after check-out, that's pretty cool. The pool was mid sized and kids were taking it over, but that's great to see kids and families having fun. There are plenty of opportunities to swim when there are less people in the pool. We swam at night (after midnight) with no problems, because we are adults and were quiet. It was fun and when we went back to our room (#420 the end unit ocean front) and sat on the deck looking at the beautiful moon on the ocean, i could have sworn i was in heaven!!! I have been going to ocean city forever and this was clean, comfy and fun for my husband and our get-a-way night without the kids!!!! Cherie and pete ferrantello.

We just returned from one of our best trips to the shore! Each year my husband and I take our kids for a long weekend at a new shore spot...no more. We will now return again and again to ocean city and the days inn! The location was fantastic! Our room faced the pool with a slight view of the ocean, and we were inches from the boardwalk. We didn't drive anywhere for 4 days! The rooms were clean and well-sized and stocked with plenty of towels! The hotel was quiet and the staff friendly, especially marke who checked us in. When I requested an extra hour before checkout there was no problem. Their parking lot was a good size and the lobby was clean and welcoming. We even had a small area to sit outside our room. The pool was warm, never over-crowded and vacuumed every morning. We've never had such a good stay on the shore before. We will be returning!

My family & I stayed at the ocean 7 for 4th of july weekend & had a great time. It is sooo convenient to the beach and the boardwalk! It provides parking so you don't have to hassle finding street parking. The room was spacious and clean. I did stay here last year when it was a days inn and would highly recommend that you make sure you don't get the room "at the end of the hallway!" they warn you when making the reservation for a reason. I didn't make that same mistake this year. The staff were so nice and accomodating. The day we checked out, we went to the beach & they let us come back & use the shower outside to wash off & then use the bathrooms inside the lobby to change our clothes. I will difinitely be going back to the ocean 7 again soon!

My family (myself, husband and 2 girls) love this hotel. We have been going there now for 4 years. 2006 will be our 5th. We love it because it is convenient to everything, i.e., rides, food, music and of course ocean and boardwalk. Can't say enough good things about ocean 7.
