Bad Place for A Vacation

I took my whole family on vacation we picked the motel on the inter net (site unseen) it was the filthiess place I have ever stay at..i have a sick grandson with cf and a 13mo baby...i would never recommend the place to anyone..i had no choice but to stay there because I had my dog and there are very few places to bring your pets to! Thank god the children didn't get sick and we stayed on the broadwalk as much as we could...thank you for letting me vent it is my fault for not knowing what I was getting into

Absolutely horrible, filthy, disgusting, and no one cared when we complained!! They offered us a bucket of cleaning supplies to clean it ourselves. Our dog even came down with mange from staying here...please stay somewhere else..save your family the trouble ours went through. They refused to refund our money....it was awful!! New england motel is much better!!

I arrived on a hot day to a extremely hot room. I paid for 2 nights for a 1 bedroom apt. (2 dbl.beds & 1 sofa bed) the only a/c unit was in the wall in the kitchen(where window would not shut) with the pull out sofa, which was considered the bedroom. If the door was shut for parental privacy, the children had no air. I guess we could have left the front door open to the hotel open so they could get some ventilation. No, they do not offer any fans or do the rooms have ceilling fans. Now, the really gross part, i went to make coffee and you should have seen the mold on the old grinds! And in the pot! I needed sheets for one of the beds. As i lifted the mattress to make the bed, there were cigarette butts underneath. I found out that the hotel had only hand towels to dry with. When i went to the office to get reg. Towels, they told me they were out but could accomadate me with two more hand towels! The bottom towel in the pile in the bathroom looked used and had dark brown stains, and ..... Sheets, yes, they too were stained. Short & sweet, do not enter!

My Family and I Loved It There!

My wife and I have been going down the shore for the irish festival every year for the past 6 yrs. The 2nd. Yr. We stayed at the surf 16 with the aoh, and it was great! The people that ran the place were extremely nice. We don't have pets to worry about! The room was very nice. The beds were very comfortable. And I never noticed anything dirty! The pool was great. The atmosphere was great! And it is close to everything. Plus it is on the parade route! No worries of finding a place to sit/ stand on the route! So to anyone that is thinking of staying at the surf 16 I say go for it! It's a great place. We stay at the sandy shores and have been now for the past 4 years because we like to stay during the week. They are the best in wildwood! But as I said this place is great also!

Loved and Coming Back

We had a great time with a dog and 4 people in a spacious room next to the Boardwalk in this family own and operated Motel. We did stayed at White Caps and it stunk so badly - we did not believe there can be motel with no pet odor anywhere and we glad we found it. We have large dog and yard behind Motel was pleasantly large to let her out. Great indication of quality of this Motel was the fact that people without pets were staying there. So we are going back this year. Hope they have rooms for 4th of July!!!
