This was our 4th B&B we have stayed at. It was one of the best. Breakfast was great. The owners were very friendly and informative. We will definetly return.

Romantic and Reasonable, What More?

Stayed at this select b&b and was very happy with our choice. Loved the house and our room and the owners were very pleasant and kind. Breakfast was also delicious. Plan on staying again soon. Gave us restaurant recommendations at an italian place close to the bowling alley. It was outstanding. We truly enjoyed our short weekend. Thanks for the pleasant time.

Romantic Getaway

My husband and i celebrated our first wedding anniversary at the candlelight inn on march 5 ,2005. From the moment we arrived until we checked out sunday morning, was fabulous. It is a restored victorian bed and breakfast and the facilities are gorgeous. We arrived and we were given a tour of the house before shown to our room, blue meadow, which was located on the third floor. We were the only guests staying on that floor so we had it all to ourselves. Our room had a comfortable queen sized bed, romantic fireplace, tv with dvd player, am/fm clock radio, and a sunny window seat with an assortment of magazines to read. Special touches included a decanter of sherry and chocolates in the room plus nancy and bill (inkeepers) gave us a bottle of champagne in celebration of our aniversary. Our private bathroom had a shower and double whirlpool which was amazing. The inkeepers recommended a lovely italian restaurant for dinner (cucina deangelis) which we had all to ourselves, with excellent food and a great waitress. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and filling, a three course meal, with great company to accompany the meal. This inn was wonderful and i can't wait to return again.

Our Honeymoon The Candlelight Inn

We spent a week of our honeymoon the candlelight inn mid-may. It was pre-season that gave us a much needed rest and pampering but I doubt it gets too crazy 3-4 blocks from the beach. It was wonderful, nice privacy in the carriage house, wifi access, great breakfast and the softest bed i've come across. We were the only guests staying mid-week but believe bill and nancy spoil all their guests. The little touches made all the difference, plenty of fresh towels, eager to help with great restaurant / activity selection, maps, fresh baked cookies & wine mid-afternoon and the sherry & chocolates waiting in the room. We are looking forward to visiting again, but this time we're going to skip the excursion to atlantic city and spend our time at the candlelight inn.

Owners were very nice. Very helpful with directions and places to see. Neighborhood safe. Will most likely visit them again. Highly recommended. Room rate very reasonable compared to others in the area. Breakfast was delicious.
