We arived right at 4:00. The hotel was beautiful. We had no problems checking in. When we arived in our room there where a few things that needed to be cleaned further. Some one had baby oil all over the one chair and on the tv. Our room was amazing! We had a living room and a bedroom with a jacuzzi. Very romantic. We ate at Il Mulino. It was very over priced. I would suggest not eating at the restruants in the Hotel. You will pay an arm and a leg! There is a really great Irish Pub a few blocks down, right off the board walk. It isnt expensive and the food was great! Also do not buy beer at the clubs over 5.00 for a bottle of beer is just outragous! Other than that we had a wonderful time. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a great time and would stay again. I recommend this hotel to everyone!

1. Felt like a number than a valued customer 2. Some aspects could be updated within the room and throughout the resort. 3. Found hairs throughout the bathroom upon arrival in the room. Slight smell of smoke. 4. There is a door which connects rooms. Sound travels through the door as if the room was open. Neighbors were extremely noisey. Why would the hotel put a couple beside another couple with toddlers? 5. The resort is adjacent to slums of Atlantic City. 6. Try a different resort.

I stayed in a suite and was disappointed in the quality of the accomodations. This is an old hotel and shows it's age. Timers on the bathroom lights that turn off while you are in there; worn and outdated furniture; Wall-mounted TV didn't work so there was a tabletop tv in front of it, etc. The buffet was expensive and the quality poor. Room service was fast and food decent.

When we checked into the hotel, we asked for a room with a view and the front-desk reception was very accommodating to find a room that had two-queen beds and as well as a nice city view. We stayed in the chairman tower, the price was worth it. The hotel lobbies were magnificent and extravagant The lighting inside the Trump Taj Mahal Casino was really good. We went to the safari steakhouse for dinner and I ordered the NY Sirloin steak, it's the best, try the porterhouse too. But I liked the Sirloin steak so much, it was prepared well and moist and juicy. The Casino has bars opened all night so no need to rush for the last call. I am not much of a gambler, so no experience there. But a nice memorable trip for Thanksgiving from NYC.

AFTER A VERY SLOW CHECK INTO THE CHAIRMAN TOWER ROOM HAD BEEN USED BY SMOKERS BY THE SMELL OF IT AND THE BURNS ON THE CARPET. NO ''COUPONS'' ARE GIVEN FOR THE RESTAURANTS. THE FRONT DESK FAILED TO TELL US OF REDUCED RESTAURANT SERVICE HOURS IN NOVEMBER FOR THE ''SLOW SEASON''. WHEN WE SHOWED UP TO EAT IT WAS ABOUT TO CLOSE AND WOULD REMAIN CLOSED FOR THE NEXT 2 DAYS. THE ROOM WAS FOR 2 PEOPLE BUT THE TOWELS AND SOAPS PROVIDED WERE FOR ONLY ONE PERSON. THE BED WAS GOOD AND THE ROOM QUIET. FOR THE MONEY IN A CHAIRMAN TOWER ROOM IT WAS NOT WORTH IT. GO TO CEASERS FOR THE SAME PRICE AND BETTER SERVICES.

The hotel was nice and clean, staff was friendly and helpful. We received a great deal from hotels.com for the room above, and it was fantastic. I have stayed at other hotels, in the area and this one is one of the best. Only draw back is the cost of food at the casino. Otherwise a great stay and will stay again. It is worth the upgrade.

Suite was great. However the jacuzzi is only built for one, and was not the romantic getaway I had hoped for. With a mirror over the bed you think that they realized that it was meant for two.

The hotel hosts the us poker championships. The tournament is well run the poker room is large and has lots of action. If you enjoy poker the taj is the place to go.

When checking in my husband asked for a room with an ocean view and they said yes they had one. It wasn't until we got to the room that we realized they had upgraded us to a suite. It was a beautiful room and I wished we were staying for more than the one night. Everyone at the hotel and casino were friendly and helpful. I would definately stay there again.

The taj mahal resort complex is very well maintained and if you are going to atlantic city I would recommend it. You won't be disappointed. It is an ocean front complex with everything you need. The rooms are large, clean and well maintained. A lot of attention to detail has been spent on this hotel which makes it a very interesting and enjoyable place to stay.

This was our first visit to atlantic city and we stayed at the trump taj mahal. The only issue I had with the taj mahal was the lack of personnel at the check in desk. We checked in on a sunday at 6:00 pm and there was only 2 people at the desk - with a line of approximately 30 people. They did not seem to care that everyone was complaining about the length of time waiting in line to check in. I would rate the check in staff a zero, but the rest of the hotel staff was outstanding. It's too bad that our terrible experience checking in spoiled an otherwise great stay at the taj mahal. We will stay there again on our next visit.

I was so disappointed. The service was terrible. The people working there were very unfriendly. We arrived about 8:00pm and couldn't get anything to eat as the restaurants were closed. Our room was dirty and even had some of the personal belongings left in the bathtub from the guest who had stayed before us. I feel I will never want to return to atlantic city or tell anyone else to. Or at least to this hotel.

I only stayed for 2 nights but they were 2 great nights. The room was a good size and the windowsill was large enough to sit on - which was excellent because I could sit and look out at the ocean. I took advantage of the fitness center, spa and salon which were all very nice. The fitness center was small but well-appointed with a variety of machines and free weights. The women's locker room was very clean and had some of the nice touches like a hot tub, private dressing rooms, and cold washcloths outside the steam room and sauna. I had a massage and a manicure and both were really wonderful. Being right on the boardwalk was good because it was a nice walk and there is a lot to see. All in all, I would definitely go back to the taj mahal if I returned to atlantic city in the future.

We really liked this hotel. The room was nice and big with a big bathroom. The elevator moves very quickly and gives you that queasy feeling... Ugh, and the taj is a little far down the boardwalk. Nonetheless, with the deal we got on the room and its size and comfort, we were satisfied, and would stay there again.

I stayed at this hotel for a business conference, and have stayed several times in the past for the same reason. On one occasion, the room was disgusting with stains all over the carpet. On another occasion, I was placed in a "handicapped equipped" room, since somehow they had me listed for a smoking room. The waitstaff in the hotel restaurants are not courteous, mostly rude, and unfriendly. And never call long distance from your room phone!!! But, on a good note, the call service and room service were very prompt and courteous. Room service food was great. Check-out was easy and convenient. Unless coming here for business, I probably wouldn't bring family here for a personal trip.

Arrived there on 5/10/06 and our bags were left at the front entrance. I was not alone who was waiting for a bellman. After several minutes, my wife walked to the bellmen's desk which was about 25 yards away and was greeted by a very rude and unfriendly bellman. We stayed there because we wanted to experience the boardwalk. I would look for another hotel in the future.

The hotel is great. Went the week after memorial day, and it was not crouded at all. We got a choice of smoking or non-smoking room, 1 or 2 beds, and even what floor we wanted to stay on. Also, check-in waning time was less than 15 min., with a line of about 15 people. Room was big, so was bathroom. Poker room is a must. Huge room so there wasn't much of a wait time to get a table even when the room was packed.
