The room was large but the bathroom was quite small. The room and bathroom appeared clean but there was an unpleaseant smell in the room so I asked for some air freshener which I sprayed throughout the room and bathroom. The carpet probably needed to be shampooed. I decided to stay there because I was only going to be there for the one night and wasn't planning on being in the room much since I was planning to spend my time at the casinos.

"Thin walls"

The location of the hotel was great and the rooms were OK for the money. However, the walls in our room were paper thin which made it very difficult to sleep.

Was pleased with hotel staff, the room, and especially the location, and view was nice, too. Would recommend to others, but not to rich people that like ultra fancy.

"Best value"

I've stayed in many hotels in AC ranging from the HoJo (sucked) to the Hulton (good but over priced). The Days Inn is by far the best value. They gave us a room with a balcony overlooking the ocean which I didn't expect. Very nice, clean room.

We had a room on the Boardwalk. It was a great hotel. The staff was nice and the suite was clean and comfy. This was a great way to enjoy AC without the huge cost of the Pricier Gambling Casinos. Would stay here again - no doubt!

"Not the greatest"

The pros are that it is right across the street from the Tropicana, which has a lot to offer and it is located on the Boardwalk and on the ocean. It has a country kitchen which was really convenient for meals and good food. And the room was pretty spacious. However, my first impression with the halls of this hotel is that they need to remodel and do some renovations. The worst about our stay was that our bed was so incredibly hard! I was a little concerned when we entered our room because on the door it asks you to make sure you but the bolt on, which makes me worry about the security. But, if you are just looking for somewhere cheap to crash and not for a vacation, it was in an excellent location. Not bad for a 1-2 night stay.

"Horrible View"

Hotel from front and lobby was nice and welcoming till I got to my room. Make sure you specify that you want a balcony instead of a window that looks out to a big garage wall. I would stay again but facing beach front. Staff was great and friendly and the 24-7 valet service was excellent

"Not the best hotel, but Ok for the money"

This hotel was alright but way overpriced. At least it is right next to the boardwalk and it was very easy to get to. The parking was a bit weird since two start hotels usually do not have "ballet" parking. The staff was very helpful so I give them points for that. I have been to Las Vegas quite a few times and I colleagues had told me to check out Atlantic City. The boardwalk in a Atlantic city is a DUMP! You will definitely find the rotten fish smell a deal breaker and yet many people didn't seem to mind! Needless to say, it will never compare to Las Vegas. The fun and cool stuff is not near the boardwalk since you will need to go to Harrah's or Borgata hotel.

the free parking and the restaraunt located on first floor of hotel were the best features, however all else, leaves much to be desired. I asked for an oceanview room, I got a distant oceanview with a parking lot view, not to mention the noise from the bar /restaraunt coming from the chelsea next door all night long....drunken neighbors kept us up all night with their arguments...security not too swift here...this hotel is convenient to the hilton resort, where we spent an evening at the beach bar....the trump plaza and ceasars, the heart of atlantic city are nearly 6 blocks away...not a bad walk on the board walk, we got lucky we had great weather.

the first thing was we had 3 guests and they charged us $45.00 extra even though we were sharing the same room. the beds in the room were ok but short. The hotel staff were a little snotty. When we arrived we pulled into the parking lot and they came running out yelling whoa whoa where do you think you are going. I don't like to be told to leave a tip the housekeeper left us an envelope for a tip, we did not have them clean the room while we were there. The one bright spot of the hotel is the country kitchen. We ate there for breakfast, lunch and dinner it was great. The staff is friendly and the food is great.

This would be my second time to Alantic City with my special friend. We stayed at this hotel in May and this time we had an Oceanfront view. The view was lovly, the room was in good condition. The hotel staff actually remember us from our last visit(LOL)!! As before I would recommend this hotel to anyone. At night we left the door open a little and the cool night breeze was the most romantic part of this trip. There is one thing those SEA GULLS it look sometimes they were coming straight at us.(LOL) Overall I give them another 4 star rating....... I will be back again!!!!!

"Don't settle for this cheap and rude establishment"

Took my girlfriend for a weekend getaway to Atlantic City. Wanted to stay on the boardwalk, so after checking the prices of the casino hotels, this one looked appealing as it was cheaper than the casino hotels and right next to the tropicana casino. First night started ok, though I requested a refrigerator(at twenty bucks a night), and the manager said he'd send one up(never happened). Went out for a few hours and went to bed. Next day it gets dicey. Leave the room for the day to walk and visit casinos and shops as well as have a couple meals. Return around 6 oclock and play some music no louder than the volume of the television. Get a call to the room from the front desk that a neighbor was upset with the noise. Apparantly someone had just checked in and wanted peace and quiet at 6pm on a saturday night. I go on the balcony to have a cigarette and was confronted by the neighbor who gives me a sob story about his bad night the previous evening. I tell him how I'd been out all day and wanted to come to my room that i'd been paying ridiculous rates for and listen to some music, which is the same as watching tv imo. 2 minutes later got a call from the front desk again, this time he threatened to kick me out of the hotel for "harrassing" the neighbor and to turn the music off. This really annoyed me, so I went downstairs to speak with the manager, and i see the neighbor up front saying they're checking out, which wouldve been fine with me. But I tried to tell my side of the story and the manager ignored me and said he was calling the cops if i made any more noise. So being the bigger man, i said fine this is ridiculous, shook the patrons hand and left our room for the remainder of the evening. So I spent ridiculous money on a crappy hotel only to be allowed in there for a few hours of sleep each night. And there was no fan in the bathroom and no a.c. in our room. Next time I will definately pay extra to be treated with respect from the staff and not have to act like
